Abstract
We consider economic model predictive control (MPC) with average constraints and present a transient, non-Averaged performance estimate for the closed-loop system. Furthermore, we propose a reformulation of the time-varying average constraints in the MPC optimization problem as an additional state variable and present convergence, boundedness and stability results for this extended system.
