Abstract

In this paper we describe a control for a novel material handling system, which consists of small-scaled transport modules and various types of continuous conveyors. Every conveyor of this system has its own dedicated control. The control of the material handling system is therefore decentralized. We depict how the route reservation works and subsequently how the motors of the conveyors can be controlled synchronously.
