Abstract
Polygon forming of large structural components for the aerospace industry brings numerous advantages compared to conventional forming processes, such as lower material stresses and fewer pre-and post-processing steps. So far, this technology has only been used for the production of cylindrical or conical fuselage segments. This work is about extending polygon forming to be used for the production of spherical segments.
