Abstract

Minimum effort - maximum effect: Deoxygenated oligosaccharides and glycoconjugates are prepared in high yields with minimum purification from thioglycosides (see scheme) by exclusively employing reagents that are removed by simple filtration. New solidphase-assisted synthetic protocols for removal of thiophenol and diphenyl disulfide are disclosed that make use of functionalized polymers. RO=testosteryl.
