Abstract
Nowadays, companies are forced to control and adjust the ramp-up capacity of their production systems more frequently. Reasons are the increasing number and the relevance of production ramp-ups. This paper presents a methodology for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which is based on a maturity-model and allows companies to evaluate and enhance the ramp-up capacity necessary in the contemplated situation.
