Abstract
To assure a long-term competitiveness and to satisfy the increasing customer requirements, companies are nowadays forced to manufacture products of high quality with a high productivity. Concerning this matter existing manufacturing processes often come to their limit. Many quality enhancements and measurements can only be realized with a significant additional effort. Therefore a methodical approach for the planning of quality supportive factories which early integrates the relevant requests in the planning processes is developed at the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics (IFA) of the Leibniz University of Hannover.
