Abstract

Due to their often filigree structure, implants have a low stiffness on the workpiece side and thus a high process force-related displacement. In order to achieve tolerance requirements in spite of this, a complex run-in process is therefore necessary. Changing basic conditions such as increasing tool wear lead to further manufacturing errors in the series production process, which makes constant process adaptation necessary. In this article, a control concept is presented that independently performs continuous process adaptation to compensate for the deviations.
