Abstract
Production planning is a key factor in the production management of manufacturing companies. It determines the compet - itiveness of the production process, which is why planning should be as comprehensive, precise and efficient as possible. A helpful tool is the digital twin, but it is rarely used. This paper presents an approach for production planning by efficiently creating a digital twin.
