Abstract
In knowledge-intensive production systems, the employee acts directly as a key influencing factor on productivity. Therefore, a methodology has been developed that determines the performance of an employee based on operating data and is used for the planning of personnel deployment. The method has been implemented in an existing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and tested in industrial practice.
