Abstract
For regeneration processing of complex shaped parts special clamping systems are necessary. When for instance turbine blades should be clamped the clamping system has to provide an adapted contour. In contrast to clamping jaws with predefined shape, clamping with low melting alloys or push rod systems are flexible alternatives by which jaw inventory can be minimized. In this paper these flexible clamping methods are compared in experimental analyses. Copyright Springer-VDI-Verlag GmbH & Co. KG, Düsseldorf.
