Abstract

Polarized 12B nuclei were implanted in Al and Cu single crystals. Resonance-like cross relaxation dips of the 12B polarization were observed at several values of the external B field. Comparison with calculated relaxation curves yielded the octahedral interstitial site for 12B, both in Al and Cu, at room temperature.
