Abstract
We demonstrate the generation of correlated photon pairs in AlGaAs-on-insulator waveguides through spontaneous four-wave mixing at telecom wavelengths with a generation efficiency of ~0.096 × 1012 pairs/(s•W2), one of the highest achieved in integrated structures.
