Abstract

This article describes the special requirements to manufacturing execution systems (MES) in small and mediums sized enterprises (SME) with batch production. On that basis and considering the competing targets maximum individualization and minimal cost a new MES is developed. This system can be used in SME to support fast decisions and improve the production efficiency.
