N2 - Hydraulic model tests in regular waves and constant water depth are investigated to determine mean overtopping discharges at stepped embankments. Slope angles of 1: 2 and 1: 3 are tested for a variation of wave heights and unaltered wave period. Finally, a design formula is derived to predict the mean overtopping rate at stepped embankments.
