Abstract
Nonadiabatic effects in an oriented and isotopically asymmetric diatomic molecule lead to the emission of even harmonics. Such effects are particularly intense at high-harmonic frequencies. This information is relevant not only from a fundamental point of view, but also has the practical implication that reliable spectra can be obtained from fixed-nuclei calculations.
