Abstract
Development of combined production processes for high-strength components - Effect of the strengthening rubbing process on the workpiece properties. Combined production processes are suitable for controlling the local workpiece properties for high-strength components. Therefore at least two separated machining steps are to be accomplished, which describe the process "material separating" on the one hand and the process "changing of material properties" on the other hand. In order to define possibilities and limits of combined machining technologies, firstly the possibilities of the individual processes are characterized on the industrial relevant material A17075-T6. After already performed experimental analyses on "material separating" by an of orthogonal turning process, the effects of strengthening rubbing process, parameters changes on surface and subsurface properties of the component are presented in comparison with the properties after turning.
