Abstract
During the Implantation of cochlea implants trauma and irritation of the auditory canal tissue must be avoided. Aim of the present work is the supply of a realtime monitoring of the position of a cochlea implant based on continuous impedance measurement between the implant electrodes during insertion. The present work presents first model measurements with several fluids.
