Abstract
▪ Currently different robotic systems for guiding endoscopes for minimally invasive procedures are being investigated. ▪ Other developments will allow minimally invasive access routes for procedures that were previously performed conventionally and open. ▪ Master-slave systems are used in minimally invasive soft-tissue surgery in the area of the larynx and pharynx. ▪ The trend goes towards robotic systems for the production of patient-specific intraoperative frames, which serve as guidance for surgical instruments.
