Abstract

Building Information Systems contain information about different aspects of a building, namely planning, administrative, or planning aspects. The integration of all the information in a common framework guarantees a consistent access on all the information and a link between geometric and thematic information. This opens a huge variety of possible applications, e.g. work planning, inventory and commercial administration, or occupancy planning.
