Abstract
The contribution discusses the interrelation of topics/program structures, organizational forms (such as academies and community education centers) and profiles, also in the light of providers' interests. It is based on the examples of two recent studies in the fields of cultural (Robak/Fleige et al. 2015) and intercultural education (Robak/Petter 2014). Against the background of these studies, the contribution sheds light on how program analysis can identify program structures and topics, also with respect to demands, needs, discourses, visions and gains of the providers, in educational politics and by the professionals as key factors of the planning process, as specific developments of programs and topics at a certain time. With respect to the particular fields of cultural and intercultural education, which are at present particularly emphazised by politics and form part of transformation processes in society, program analysis as presented in the contribution reveals current pedagogical concepts and learning structures in the areas of the arts but also of migration, escape, globalization and hybridization.
