Abstract
The implementation of new production concepts, such as the philosophy of lean production or lean logistics, is often supported by the use of simulation games. For this purpose, simulation games are adapted or completely new developed. In both cases, the optimization of simulation games play an important role. This article shows how simulation games based on the lean-production philosophy of continuous improvement and the evaluation based approach can be optimised according to their goals. Various functions and goals of evaluation will be introduced, as well as their integration in a continuous improvement process.
