Abstract
This report describes the development of a high voltage generator with an output power of P = 600 W and a DC output voltage up to U = 360 kV with a residual ripple of less than 0.1 percent. It is shown which preliminary considerations were necessary, regarding the used circuit and which design and operating parameters were derived. Furthermore, the realisation of a compact mechanical design is described. The report ends with the metrological registration of the voltage multiplier's operating behaviour, especially concerning the output voltage, the output power, the efficiency and the voltage's residual ripple.
