N2 - Automotive lighting demands technological solutions to generate adaptive light distributions. For laser scanning headlamps, acousto-optic deflectors offer promising characteristics. Most important is their high deflection speed and precision. The deflector’s capability to implement arbitrary scanning patterns in combination with an RGB laser offers great potential for innovative lighting functions.
