What prevents us from building simply, cost-effectively and yet well? The presentation and discussion of the results of the inter-university workshop format of all 5 Faculties of Architecture in Lower Saxony presents and discusses results of the project “einfach_gut_wohnen” about the transformation of several building typologies into housing. The project is carried out by the Lower Saxony Chamber of Architects funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economy, Transport, Building and Digitalisation, with the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape of Leibniz Universität Hannover, the Department of Architecture of Technical University Braunscheig, the Faculty of Building and Conservation of HAWK Hildesheim, the Department of Architecture of Jade Hochschule Oldenburg and the Department of Architecture of Hochschule 21 in Buxtehude.
